I have just spent most of the afternoon giving my welsh dresser it's annual good clean! I have also just smashed two plates i have had for twenty odd years bought on a family holiday in Anglesey. I wondered what sort of things other people have broken due to their wonky hands. A good thing to come out of the breakages was that even though i was annoyed with myself, i thought oh well they are only plates. Happy cleaning. Bevxx

I broke one of the plates from a dinner service of my Mums, Bev. It was absolutely beautiful and very old - one of her wedding presents I think. Paper thin china and beautifully decorated. It wasn't the plate, though, it was the thought of breaking something she had treasured. Oh well, as you say, it's only a platex

I have near demolished two laptops.
I have smashed the casing on one laptop, this is the replacement, this one is cracked in one corner and has a key missing its 1, i can still use but only just.
First laptop said good bye after two opps on right ankle, whilst i was using one crutch, it slipped out of my hand smashed on the tiled floor in the conservatory.
this one was after left ankle fusion and this time i was on two crutches, slipped out from under armpit, this one was paid for via insurance, no way would i claim again
next computer i get will be like my first desktop big and bulky, cant carry that around. lol lol.
at least there was no sentimental value, luckily
Anne-m xx corr this feels like confession time.

I break something nearly every day I think - so clumsy with my hands. This morning I knocked the head off one of my 'ducks' - poor thing.
I break or chip glasses, mugs , plates etc. all the time. Clumsy is definatley my middle name

Can't think why but I'm not allowed to do 'washing up' and 'drying up'. And how I miss it Haven't got much left to break but I do have a propensity for dropping meals on the floor both with plates (that generally bounce!) or without! Lyn x
